Folky portrait of a young couple, she in a white dress with mutton sleeves and he in a black frock with vest. He is seated by a table and she is standing and reaching toward him. The portrait is on canvas but is not stretched and is in a gilt frame. Written in pencil on the backboard is ,"Joseph Frey"[?] and the date 1832.
