Period oil painting of President Andrew Jackson, after Joseph Wood. The original painting was a miniature and it's location is unknown today. This portrait is approximately 20" x 24"stretcher and 33" x 29" frame.. This has descended in the family of a physician, Joseph T. Wilson[1824-1880] of Philadelphia. The original frame is very handsome and the overall condition is excellent.
